Has everyone been enjoying December? I know I have! Yesterday we had a big storm but it was something we had been waiting for a long time. It gives me a good excuse to buy myself some cute rain boots!
Today's post is all about hair and how to style it and keep it warm at the same time! I was going to make it part of the Holiday Primp & Prep series but it seemed more like a simple tutorial than something to prepare you for the holidays. I'm also excited to show you my new hair! For all of you that have been following me for a while know that I had really dark hair and wanted a copper-red (hence, my blog name). I absolutely love it now and hairstyles have been so fun to do. I've been loving wearing beanies because they are cute and my ears are always cold. I've only been able to wear mine a couple times but I enjoy every minute of it when I do! I decided to do four simple hairstyles that are easy, quick and that will look good on everyone. Let me know what you girls think in the comments below!
Pigtail Braids
This is a very simple hairdo and it makes everyone look a bit younger because it is a childish look. I like to loosen up my braids and pull out hair to frame my face to give it an effortless vibe to it.
Loose Waves
This is my go-to look when it comes to wearing a beanie. It's simple and quick to achieve with a curling wand or by braiding your hair and leaving it over night.
Braided Side-Bun
This hairdo is not as simple but is still easy to do, even for me, who is not the best with hair. I started with a french braid on the right side of my head and went across to the left side then kept braiding all the way down. I secured it with a small elastic, created a bun with the braid and bobby-pinned it in place.
Make sure to make the bun low so that you won't have trouble fitting the beanie on. It will take a few adjustments but it ends up looking really cute!
Messy Side Braid
This hairstyle is very common for beanies. It's extremely simple and only takes a minute to do. I love the messiness of it, it looks so laid back and nice!
Thank you for visiting my blog! If you liked these, let me know in the comments below and I'll post a fancy tutorial on hair for a holiday party. Feel free to follow me on my social media to keep up with posts! Tuesday will be a fun DIY for my Holiday Primp & Prep series. Until next time, xoxo!
